Mobilize

Build relationships. Build alliances. Win real change.

mobilize [ˈmō-bə-ˌlīz], verb: to marshal, bring together, prepare (power, force, wealth, etc.) for action, especially of a vigorous nature

“We are running waters.
Seeking a way, cutting fresh courses
when spring swells us with power.
We move mountains and break banks,
creating.”

Spiritual transformation, congregational transformation, and political transformation go hand in hand. None can succeed without the rest.  To achieve climate justice, we need laws, policies, and regulations that prevent pollution and demand fairness and sustainability.

"People of faith are the sleeping giant of the climate movement. I can now see the beginning of a path through which that sleeping giant will arise and pastors, rabbis and other faith leaders across the country will be able to engage the biggest moral challenge we've ever faced."
--Rev. Dr. Jim Antal

Help us awaken the giant.

“The hours I have spent in relational meetings and in marches, on email and on conference calls, crafting campaigns and speaking and singing at events--these have been hours of sacred service. They are my response to the suffering and to the crisis, and my response to being alive and grateful for my life. They are a way for me to serve God.”

"To white people who care about maintaining a habitable planet, I need you to become actively anti-racist. I need you to understand that our racial inequality crisis is intertwined with our climate crisis. If we don’t work on both, we will succeed at neither. I need you to step up. Please. Because I am exhausted."
