  • Audio problems cut off the end of Tracy Blackmon’s sermon. Her closing words were: "I miss my daddy's garden. But I am reminded that the earth is God's garden, and we, as followers of Jesus, as disciples, are called to tend it well. May it be so. May it be so. Amen."

The offering taken during the service was shared equally between MassIPL’s Faith in Action program and GreenRoots, a Chelsea-based environmental justice organization.
