Recently, two MIP&L member congregations had PV (photovoltaic) solar panels installed on their roofs! The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MTC) announced the grant recipients for its open PV installation program on May 2, 2003. Among the winners was a proposal of the CSGServices (CSGS) to put PV on four buildings in the town of Westwood, including MIP&L member congregations, First Parish and St. John's Church. PV has also gone on the Fire Department of Westwood and will soon go on Westwood High School.
